Rapport receives $5,000 boost from Peel police

Rapport Youth & Family Services received $5,000 today from the Peel Regional Police Toys for Tots campaign to help fund one of its youth programs. The donation will support the Youth Arts Against Violence program, a youth engagement initiative that helps young people use the unique and intrinsic qualities of artistic expression as a way to constructively deal with issues of violence in their lives and in the community. The project enables youth to become leaders in their communities in initiating cultural and artistic activities related to anti-violence themes and, in doing so, mobilize other youth to unite in becoming proponents of non-violence.
