Proven Fund Development Strategies for Non-Profits

A half-day seminar with leading experts in the field of fund development. Luncheon keyonte address by Ontario PC Party Leader John Tory.

Forty-five participants, largely from a wide variety of non-profit community agencies, enjoyed an informative morning with guest speakers John Capobianco, Edelman Canada; Robin Fowler, The Offord Group; and Danielle Silverstein, The Jays Care Foundation. Topics included The Role of Government Relations in Fundraising, Current Trends in Canadian Philanthropy, and Approaching Foundations for a Successful Grant Request. The keynote address was provided by John Tory, Ontario PC Party Leader, who shared his insights and personal experiences as a successful community fundraiser.
