Brampton, September 28th, 2007 – Rapport Youth & Family Services is pleased to announce the Jays Care Foundation's support of $5,000 towards the ECLYPSE youth drop-in centre, a program of Rapport.

"Rapport is extremely pleased to partner with the Jays Care Foundation," said Paul Sherman, Executive Director, Rapport Youth & Family Services, "we are grateful for their funding support to ECLYPSE and we look forward to a long-term partnership with the Jays Care Foundation in supporting Rapport to enrich the lives of troubled youth in Peel."

The key objectives of ECLYPSE are to provide direct services to youth who would otherwise have difficulty accessing services through the more traditional approaches in the social services, education, employment and health sectors. The second objective is to provide a healthy, non-threatening environment for troubled youth to socialize, learn and participate in constructive and growth-enhancing activities, and thirdly to promote increased collaboration amongst youth serving organizations to strengthen services in the Region of Peel.

The JAYS CARE FOUNDATION is working to ensure that children in need have the opportunity to make positive choices in life through programs that support physical activity, education and life-skill development.
